Safety First! Hints for Safe working
Always think before you act. Sanding machines can be lethal if you use them carelessly.
- Keep cables out of the sanding area at all times
- Keep body away from moving parts
- Always use approved safety equipment to protect eyes, lungs and ears
- Always plug your sanding machine in through an RCD when sanding
- Don’t compromise on abrasive usage in order to save money. You will gain in cutting efficiency, quality of finish and rental times by changing abrasive as soon as cutting action reduces
- Prepare the area to be sanded properly to avoid injury and machine damage
- Empty dust bags when they are quarter full. Overly filled dust bags reduces dust extraction efficiency and strains the machine
WARNING! Never leave dust in the bag unsupervised, it is a fire hazard. Always empty dust into a fireproof container and store outside.
WARNING! All floor sanding machinery on hire to you is your responsibility therefore all damage/loss to hire machinery is your responsibility.
WARNING! Never try and adjust the sanding machinery without contacting the office.
